This vertical painting was inspired by some paint that spilled together. I tried to capture the same sense of flow in this work.
No need to frame. Sides are painted.

An artist since my early twenties, my painting career has taken me through over five decades of creative expression. From my early work's inspiration in 1960's Californian culture and the classic works of impressionists and also the era's contemporary artists like Flavia, through exploring the charm of natural and urban landscapes through the bold palettes of the seventies, to playing with form and abstraction in the pastels of the eighties, to exploring ancient spiritual numerology and mysticism through the language of art in the late 90's and early 2000's.
