Sunset over Key West Women's Tank Top

This vertical painting was inspired by the many sunsets we have seen at Mallory Square on Key West.
On the Square were all these kind of circus acts, i.e man getting out of chains, palm readers etc. In the 1980s and 90s it was sooooooo much fun for the whole family. This is my interpretation of those many happy events.

An artist since my early twenties, my painting career has taken me through over five decades of creative expression. From my early work's inspiration in 1960's Californian culture and the classic works of impressionists and also the era's contemporary artists like Flavia, through exploring the charm of natural and urban landscapes through the bold palettes of the seventies, to playing with form and abstraction in the pastels of the eighties, to exploring ancient spiritual numerology and mysticism through the language of art in the late 90's and early 2000's.
