This 8x10 acrylic painting on canvas was inspired the incomparable autumn colors in the northeast where I grew up! The canvas has a layer of modeling paste to create texture. No need for a frame. The sides are painted.
About Sarahleah Hankes

An artist since my early twenties, my painting career has taken me through over five decades of creative expression. From my early work's inspiration in 1960's Californian culture and the classic works of impressionists and also the era's contemporary artists like Flavia, through exploring the charm of natural and urban landscapes through the bold palettes of the seventies, to playing with form and abstraction in the pastels of the eighties, to exploring ancient spiritual numerology and mysticism through the language of art in the late 90's and early 2000's.
